Ringmaster-in-Chief
It becomes more obvious every day that Barack Obama has turned out to be a far greater pitchman than even P. T. Barnum could have ever imagined. President — or should I say Pitchman — Obama’s understanding of the gullibility of humanity seems eerily similar to that of P. T. Barnum.
With a Democrat majority in both the House and the Senate coupled with the full support of almost every media outlet, the slick pitchman can say anything he pleases without fear of enough truth getting out to dissuade the masses regarding his plans. If Obama is successful, then before the end of his first term in office, the social, political, and financial landscape of America will be transformed from a capitalist to a more European-socialist style economy.

We’ve Landed in Alice’s Wonderland
It appears America has become that mad land Alice stumbled upon down the rabbit hole. There is so much about American society that no longer makes any sense. Up is down, black is white and right is wrong. We’ve witnessed the implementation of programs, policies and court opinions over the last several decades that defy commonsense and logic. And there appears to be no end in sight to the madness.
It is abundantly clear the wheels have come off the cart of America. How we got here is not really important. How to get our nation back on track is.
A listing of the events that make you think and realize what has happened to our great country. This is why we must change our State and Federal Government in November.

The ‘Progressives’ Are Really ‘Oppressives’
The correct term should be "oppressive," not "progressive," because statist/progressive/totalitarian governments have to oppress individual freedom in order to force people to conform to the will of the state, which invariably just ends up in one form or another of enslavement, from confiscation and "redistribution" of earnings all the way up to gulags and show trials.
Think about every word used, and if any term is tactically advantageous to the progressive cause, then refuse to use it.

Obama Stimulating a Marxist Revolution Using Taxpayer Money
In a September 2009 lecture at the Brecht Forum, Jed Brandt, a longtime communist, political activist and outspoken atheist offered the following instructions:
“We have to bring this Government down! We have to help destroy this system and that requires increasing the alienation that working people and oppressed people feel. The way this change is going to happen is the destruction of The United States of America!”
Reconciliation and the Senate Bill
Chicago-style politics dominate Capitol Hill. Parliamentarianism is, as a result, not terribly high on anyone’s priority list. It’s been cast aside with the Constitution and the rule of law. However, there are rules that do apply to reconciliation, and failing to follow them can open a large can of worms.
There are 57 million people who receive Social Security benefits. Medicare is a Social Security benefit. The only way health care legislation can legitimately pass through reconciliation (sounds a bit like a kidney stone) is to remove any provision that changes Social Security benefits.

Lash and Chain Morality
So: in order to provide health insurance to less than 3 percent of the population we must mount a moral crusade to change the entire American health system?
That’s not morality. That’s madness. But madness is a medical term.
The political term is socialism. And if the 20th century taught us anything, it was that there is nothing moral about socialism.

Culled out
The Obama administration will accept no more public input for a federal strategy that could prohibit U.S. citizens from fishing some of the nation’s oceans, coastal areas, Great Lakes, and even inland waters.
Lubchenco and others in the administration have close ties to environmental groups who would like nothing better than to ban recreational angling. And evidence suggests that these organizations have been the engine behind the task force since before Obama issued a memo creating it last June.

Ed Gillespie: Ideology Motivates Obama
“Frankly, someone who’s been in politics as long as I am, you’re really kind of scratching your head trying to figure out what the political calculus is for the Democrats on this,” Gillespie says. “And it’s occurred to me there isn’t a political calculus. This is ideology, and this is about trying to seize the moment with the Democrats in control of the House and the Senate and a very staunchly ideologically liberal president in the White House to try to actually get something done that the American people just don’t want.”

Is Health Care a Right?
For Congress to guarantee a right to health care, or any other good or service, whether a person can afford it or not, it must diminish someone else’s rights, namely their rights to their earnings.
The fact that government has no resources of its very own forces one to recognize that in order for government to give one American citizen a dollar, it must first, through intimidation, threats and coercion, confiscate that dollar from some other American.

Unhinged: Obama Lose Grip on Political Dynamic
It gets worse. Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of U.S News & World Report and Publisher of the New York Daily news, Mort Zuckerman, writes of Obama, “He’s misjudged the character of the country in his whole approach” and “He’s done everything wrong.”
As incompetent as Democrats have been, they now seek to lock into place these policies, hoping that Republicans cannot undo them in 2011 and beyond, even if the GOP wins in 2010. They may be right, and Republicans must not proceed as if they have already won the mêlée.
